One (1) grand prize winner will receive a check in the amount of $25,000 while five (5) runners-up, one per category, will get $5,000, also awarded in the form of a check.

Contest Period
The 2015 America’s Better Sandwich Contest started at 12:00 PM ET on June 15, 2015 and will run until 12:00 PM ET on October 18, 2015. However, all recipes must be received by no later than August 23, 2015 to be eligible. The voting period will take place between 12:00 PM ET on September 21, 2015 and 12:00 PM ET on October 18, 2015.
Submit Your Recipes
To submit a recipe, visit AmericasBetterSandwich.com and register by providing your basic information, as required, then pick the bread for your sandwich recipe to get started. Next, provide your recipe’s instructions as directed and select one (1) of the following five (5) sandwich categories.
- Open-Face Artistry
- Breakfast in Bread
- Love, Healthfully
- Creative Classics
- Fueling Good
Finally, preview your entry and submit to be entered into the Contest. Please note that you may submit up to two (2) recipes per sandwich category for a maximum of (10) total entries during the entire Contest Period.
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico who are 18 years of age or older and who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.
